Nahana Foods came to Kaleidoscope looking to capitalize on the trend of vegetarian protein and the popularity of Indian food. Their vision was to create a line of products that focused on the great taste and health benefits of Dal (Indian Lentils) with an approachable brand for the adventurous millennial. Partnering with Nahana leadership, our teams developed a brand strategy and packaging design targeting health-minded families who like to travel and experiment with ethnic foods. Jaali Bean launched as a ready-to-eat and do-it-yourself kit that makes Indian dishes simple, interactive and fun. Since launch, the brand has secured distribution within major U.S retailers such as Whole Foods, Amazon, Harris Teeter, The Fresh Market, Earth Fare and many others.
