Bursting Onto The Scene
With the popularity of canned wine, beer, and cocktails on the rise, a large grocery retailer approached Round Barn to produce and sell their popular sangria in a can for the first time. To ensure a successful launch, Round Barn engaged Kaleidoscope to develop a new brand architecture and design strategy to bring Round Barn sangria to market while ensuring a consistent brand impression throughout the portfolio.
Once the strategy was set, we began the design process by simplifying the brand mark in favor of a more singular, recognizable asset. With the goal of creating a design strategy for both the new canned sangria and future canned cocktails, our design approach used vibrant colors, fresh fruit illustrations, and a unique typeface that reflects the one-of-a-kind experience of each product. The design was so well received with retailers, the brand team added new canned cocktail varieties, has effectively leveraged a new suite of assets across their marketing strategy, and are well positioned to become the next bring thing in canned spirits.
