Kaleidoscope was hired by the Mezzan Holding Co. to refresh the Aqua Gulf brand to increase consumer awareness and better stand out in a very cluttered market. Being an established brand in the region, our teams saw an opportunity to not only develop a more ownable look and feel to stand out on shelf, but also to position Aqua Gulf as the category leader with a new premium offering. Understanding the importance of water sources to consumers, the team leveraged regionally-inspired visual patterns to signal the brand’s locality to Gulf area native consumers. Through the combination of a refreshed and strengthened brand identity, new packaging design, and brand activation touchpoints, Kaleidoscope equipped the Aqua Gulf team with an impactful new brand experience that struck the perfect balance of regional relevance and distinctiveness. Since its launch in spring of 2018, the brand has seen 28% growth within the category and looks to continue to extend the Aqua Gulf name throughout the region.
