Our ability to understand strong brand assets allows us to take them to new directions without sacrificing their original brand recognition. Orville popped over to Kaleidoscope and called on strategy and design to create a refreshing new take on their line of popcorn in order to appeal to more modern consumers. Of course, refreshing a household name brand isn’t without its challenges. Evolving the iconic Orville Redenbacher brand meant striking the delicate balance of approachability and recognition while maintaining the authenticity of Redenbacher’s passion for the perfect popcorn. The updated packaging and brand identity were designed to evoke warmth and happiness that carries Orville’s inspiration for the pure joy and simplicity from eating a bag of popcorn.
