Kaleidoscope has been selected as a finalist for the Launch Day challenge this week at the IDSA International Conference being held in Chicago. We are proud to announce that two of our designs were selected and ranked within the top ten out of over one hundred submissions.
Designing and implementing the 3D printed derby car in under a week was a tremendous initiative taken on by our Industrial Design Team and Model shop, and truly utilized our Iterative Design Thinking approach in order to meet the tight deadline. Check out the development of our flying creation!
The competition will be held during the conference on Saturday, August 24 and we encourage all those attending to come meet and cheer on the team!

Our team’s Glider submission was just a few applauses away from bringing home the gold for aesthetics (plus – it was the only car to land perfectly). Check out the video below for a wrap-up of the event – we’re already looking forward to next year!
